EETech Group Announces Control Automation Day 2024 – Welcoming Keynotes from Universal Robots, FANUC and MiR

Mar 6, 2024

EETech’s third annual Control Automation Day, to be held on March 26th, 2024, will be talking all about industrial robotics with keynotes from industry leaders and educational live sessions from your favorite robotics companies.

For the third year in a row, Control Automation day will be filled with manufacturers, vendors, and integrators at the forefront of industrial, collaborative, and mobile robotics in today’s manufacturing world. Each year brings more success to this event. In 2022, the focus was on PLCs, and in 2023, on Industrial IoT. Past participants surveyed noted a 100% satisfaction with the event and intention to attend the following year.

Sponsored by Mouser Electronics, this virtual event will be filled with insights, education, and chances for some exciting giveaways to build and learn in your own robotics journey.

Keynote addresses and technical sessions with live Q&A will be hosted by EETech’s very own electrical and mechanical engineering team, certain to deliver the most exciting trends and information to help you solve problems and achieve future goals. And we’ll have some fun while we’re at it!

Our goal is to provide valuable insights for everyone, regardless of industry application or skill level—from student or entry-level engineer to seasoned control automation veteran.

“On Control Automation Day, Control.com will convert the 60K+ community-driven website into a digital conference experience where engineers will have an opportunity to learn from technical how-to articles, product demos, and ask real-time questions during live webinars,” says David Peterson, Director of Engineering Content of Control Automation.

Control Automation Day 2024 welcomes keynote addresses from Universal Robots, FANUC and MiR.

Looking Beyond the Arm: Solving Difficult Robot Applications

Mike DeGrace (UR+ Ecosystem Manager) Universal Robots

Any robot is only as capable as the interface between the arm and the workpiece, the design of which is just as much art as science. Learn some insights about a few of the most complex (and rewarding) challenges being tackled by collaborative robotic technology as well as some pitfalls to avoid for success. Register for UR’s Keynote!

The Challenge of Robotic Adoption: Maybe It’s Not What You Think

Jerry Perez (Executive Director of Global Accounts) FANUC

Automation ultimately involves moving past the stage of simply evaluating projects for viability but then actually implementing a solution. Many companies have recently been faced with obstacles in automation, but are these skill and talent gaps really what they appear on the surface? Register for FANUC’s Keynote!

Mobility in a Rigid World: Advancements in Mobile Robotic Technology

Kevin Dumas (VP of Product Management & Applications) MiR

In recent years, the technology enabling mobile robotic applications has expanded, leading to the integration of mobile platforms in more industries than ever before. Learn about some of these new tech concepts that play a vital role in sensing, safety, and networking for fleet scaling and development. Register for MiR’s Keynote!

In addition to keynote addresses, Control Automation Day 2024 will include multiple live technical sessions with industry experts and offer unique written content on exhibitors’ digital booths.
