EETech announces new partnership with Octopart, bringing powerful search engine to All About Circuits

Aug 18, 2020

EETech Media is pleased to announce a new partnership with Octopart, the premiere electronic component and industrial product search engine for engineers looking to find and compare parts.

This development will transform the All About Circuits search engine, powering it through Octopart’s industry-leading search algorithms and extensive part database. With 500K members globally and more than 4 million monthly page views, All About Circuits’ rapidly growing electrical engineering community of professionals and engineers at every stage of their careers will be able to take advantage of the new features and benefits Octopart provides.

“The EETech team has built the All About Circuits community through delivering excellent content, tools and forums,” said Dan Schoenfelder, Head of Octopart. “It’s truly a place for electrical engineers to learn and collaborate. I’m thrilled the Octopart API is now powering the search tool on All About Circuits.”

All About Circuits’ new tool will allow members to quickly and efficiently search across thousands of distributors and manufacturers, optimizing the traditional user search process. The Octopart API provides search by different variations, such as specs – a helpful function that enables users to easily filter results and enhance their own browsing experience.

Users can utilize the updated search engine during Industry Tech Days, the upcoming virtual conference held August 31st through September 4th, 2020.

“This partnership offers an incredible opportunity to support our growing community and take the All About Circuits user experience one step further,” said Adam LaBarbera, co-founder and CEO of EETech. “It was only a matter of time before EETech and Octopart formed a partnership, given the Octopart API’s ability to provide semantic search with high value keywords and data efficacy.”
