As a Software Project Manager you will be the face of software implementation for new and existing clients, responsible for gathering project requirements and managing client communications. Ideally, you will have experience in software implementation and a solid understanding of web development. You must feel comfortable navigating ambiguity while helping to guide teams in finding win/win solutions across all departments.

Location: Boise, ID, | Portland, Oregon | or remote United States


  • Manage day-to-day implementation project planning and related activities, driving accountability and ownership to schedules, budgets, and commitments
  • Initiate, schedule, and conduct weekly project meetings with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and steering committee members
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with clients,  including scheduling meetings, daily communication, and regular status updates
  • Gather a project’s requirements from clients and communicate them to the team
  • Conduct weekly project meetings and follow-ups with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Create effective project plans, dependencies and critical path activities
  • Work with cross-functional teams, internally and externally, driving them to deliver on-time and on-budget
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients when problems or conflicts occur that might impact schedule and budget including time tracking of actual vs estimated hours
  • Identify issues and problems promptly and manage them through to resolution. Escalate the ones that require leadership’s attention
  • Create and manage the overall project plan and communicate the timeline/tasks to stakeholders
  • Coach and guide new and existing processes, best practices and change management
  • Manage the software development lifecycle, from discovery through project launch
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills, leveraging clear written and verbal communication skills

Required Skills/Education/Experience:

  • 5 – 7 years as a client-facing project manager, including managing the client relationship, expectations, and communication
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technology-related field with a background in web development in an agile environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in E-commerce
  • Should understand requirements gathering, scheduling and budgeting
  • Experienced in the role of a Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Demonstrated experience writing and managing requirements in an agile environment, including writing user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Demonstrated experience with program documentation activities, such as creating, drafting, and reviewing documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting other project managers, subject matter experts, and the customers by planning projects, developing contingencies, and producing schedules
  • Demonstrated coordination and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated experience working across organizational boundaries
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
