We are seeking a driven Social Media Coordinator to plan, implement and monitor strategy across all of our social media platforms in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. This position will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers to promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Create engaging text, image and video content
  • Execute a results driven social media strategy
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure web traffic 
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Measure growth and monitor performance

Required Skills/Education/Experience:

  • 2-4 years experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, specifically copywriting and communications with social media users
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sendible)
  • Excellent social listening and community management skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns focused on measurable results, preferred
