We are looking for a driven, Social Media Manager to plan, implement, and monitor strategy across all EETech Media social media platforms in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts, and increase sales. This person will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers to promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • High-level ideation
    • Generate new ideas of how to increase engagement with targeted audiences
    • Execute a results-driven social media strategy
    • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
    • Help develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
    • Ideate new methodologies and campaign concepts
  • Social posting and copywriting
    • Create engaging text, image, and video content
    • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz for both time-sensitive information and evergreen assets repromoted over time
    • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Operations
    • Manage a direct-report remote coworker for effective task completion
    • Report on online reviews, analytics, key metrics, and feedback from customers and audiences
    • Measure growth and monitor performance
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms, ensuring maximum effectiveness
    • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way


Required Skills/Education/Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience with social media marketing 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, particularly copywriting and communications with social media users
  • Proven work experience managing multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Experience in reporting KPIs
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask and communicate effectively
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of keyword and hashtag research
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to research and understand future trends in digital technologies to remain proactive in our industry 
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite or  Sprinklr)
  • Experience with Google tools (Drive, Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns focused on measurable results, preferred
